Hurricane Teddy is set to impact the Island nation of Bermuda as a Strong Category 2 Hurricane but where does it go from there?
Twitter meteorologists have been keeping an eye on model trends for Hurricane Teddy over the course of the last few days. A disturbing trend is setting in of a further west path for the developing Hurricane. A path which could bring topical cyclone conditions to a portion of the Northeast and Canada later next week.
As of 5pm EST Teddy was located at 17.5°N 50.8°W moving northwest at 13 mph. Maximum sustained winds remained at 100mph and pressure was holding steady at 973mb. Strengthening is in the forecast over the next 48 hours before strong upper level winds set in and weaken the Hurricane before it passes over Bermuda late Sunday and early Monday.
